Hair Pin Beach is located on the South China Sea (part of Pacific ocean) and it is in the 78th place out of 87 beaches in the Hong Kong region The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains, surrounded by the cliffs.

It is a straight coastline with crystal turquoise water and light pebble, so it is highly recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

Hair Pin Beach coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature. .

Although the water is crystal clear, there is a noticeable amount of seaweed floating around. The beach is comprised of rocks and pebbles, and it tends to get quite crowded on weekends, making it difficult to find a parking spot.

Located adjacent to Stanley main beach, this beach offers a BBQ area and rocky shores. Additionally, amenities such as restrooms, showers, and a drinking fountain are available.

Located just around the corner from Stanley Main Beach, there's a small cove that offers public toilets and a BBQ area. However, the BBQ area seems to have been damaged during the recent T10 typhoon and hasn't been fixed yet. It's important to note that this beach is not patrolled by life savers. Nonetheless, it's a great place for kids to explore rock pools and witness the impact of rubbish on the Hong Kong shoreline.
