Cynthia's mark remains on this cozy little beach.

After the storm Fiona, the small beach was left in a state of desolation. Local volunteers were seen cleaning it up for the passage of the rum road, but it was done at their own expense. While Pointe-à-Pitre is undergoing a great cleaning and painting effort, the Bas du Fort district in Gosier seems to be neglected, except for the hotel area. It's disheartening to witness.

The beach is attractive, but it is lacking in both amenities and cleanliness.

4 Frustrating

The beach is small and pleasant, but there are quite a few pebbles. Unfortunately, the water isn't very clear and there are better beaches nearby.
