De La Vieille Beach is located on the Caribbean Sea (part of South Atlantic Ocean) and it is in the 38th place out of 76 beaches in the Guadeloupe region The beach is located in an urban area. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a short straight coastline with crystal turquoise water and pure bright fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is almost deserted place even during the high season.

De La Vieille Beach shoreline is completely occupied by the hotels. The beach facilities are only available to hotel guests. Their list includes, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, toilets. .

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities.

This beach is easily accessible, it is located very close to road. Parking is located directly on the beach.

We stayed at a beachfront residence, specifically in the studios that used to be part of the hotel with the same name. The level of comfort varied depending on the owner, but it was satisfactory for us. However, the welcome we received was minimal. The prices were too high considering the overall service provided. Although we didn't have access to the hotel's small beach, everyone still went there. Overall, it was quite disappointing and we have no intention of returning.

Positive aspects: - The apartment offers a pleasant view. - The owner is friendly and proactive in addressing any issues. - There are lively parties on the beach for those seeking entertainment. Negative aspects: - The exterior of the property requires prompt renovation. - The interior appears slightly dated and in need of repairs, such as wall scratches. - For those seeking a peaceful apartment, the parties on the beach may be a drawback.

The beach was gated, but there was no mention of this on the booking website. Additionally, a wristband was required for access to the pool and beach, which was quite inconvenient. The facility seemed quite old and worn out, and I was worried that the kitchen chairs might break as they made strange sounds. On the bright side, the owner was pleasant and friendly.
