It is one of the beaches of Minia settlement, just 1 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.

It is a spacious bay with green pure water and brown sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, seniors etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

The proximity of the airport adds an exciting touch, as planes fly overhead every half hour or so. The Tortuga beach bar is a charming and unassuming spot, offering reasonably priced drinks and snacks, and accompanied by soothing tunes. The beach is well-equipped with chairs, umbrellas, and a shower located conveniently next to the bar.
