Ammes beach is located on the Ionian Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 28th place out of 504 beaches in the Ioanian Islands region 175.7 km away from its center, the city of Corfu. It is one of the beaches of Svoronata settlement, just 1.5 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, surrounded by the cliffs.

It is a small bay with green pure water and brown fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, families with children, seniors etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

A significant part of the beach is occupied by beach clubs with limited access The beach facilities are only available to visitors of resort area.
