This petite and intimate beach exudes a lively atmosphere, with plenty of activity buzzing around it. However, the constant presence of numerous ships, ferries and boats in the water can be somewhat unsettling. Nonetheless, it's an ideal location to snap some picturesque shots and leisurely stroll around. As for swimming, it's not the most conducive spot for aquatic activities.
The beach is absolutely adorable, despite its seemingly diminutive size. The area is bustling with boats of all shapes and sizes, offering a variety of exciting excursions for rent. The surrounding tavernas are simply delightful, serving up scrumptious seafood dishes that are sure to tantalize your taste buds. And don't forget about the famous blue caves, which are just a hop, skip, and a jump away for a mere 7 euros per person for a 45-minute tour.
This charming coastal village is a perfect destination for tourists who wish to rent a boat or charter one for a memorable experience. You can also indulge in some delicious lunch or grab some essential supplies while exploring the town.
Agios Nikolais in Zakintas is renowned for its boat tours to the mesmerizing blue caves and the spectacular shipwreck. It is an ideal destination for a boat trip, and I highly recommend it.
Agios Nikolaos, a minuscule beach situated in a village of fisherman with the same name, is a spot where you can rent boats to explore Navaggio beach and blue caves. However, unless you are already lodged in the southern part of the island, there is no point in making a special trip to this beach. It's just another average beach, nothing extraordinary to write home about.
