The beach is a cozy and intimate spot, perfect for those seeking a more relaxed atmosphere. On-site amenities such as restrooms and a shop make it convenient for visitors.
Porto Vromi is the perfect spot to relax while waiting for your boat to take you to the Ship Wreck area. The shaded public area is a great place to hang out and grab a bite from the small canteen that offers a variety of summer treats, including ice cream, hot dogs, and refreshing drinks. The parking area is spacious and free, but be cautious as the road leading to Porto Vromi is steep, which may pose a challenge when driving back up. You can park your car at the top of the hill, where there is another free parking area available.
If you're planning on spending an entire day at this beach, you may want to reconsider. This is the departure point for all boats heading to the famous caves and the Navagio shipwreck. Unfortunately, there isn't much to see underwater except for chains. However, there is a canteen where you can purchase cold drinks, coffee, and food. It's best to avoid visiting in the afternoon as the tour boats return with blaring music and horns. Nevertheless, as avid bikers, we thoroughly enjoyed the scenic roads and winding curves.
This tranquil beach is an idyllic spot to unwind and recharge your batteries, and it's easily accessible by car. You'll also find a charming little port here, which provides an opportunity to take a boat trip to Navigo beach. If you're feeling peckish, there's a delightful cafe where you can grab a refreshing drink or a tasty snack. The crystal-clear waters are perfect for swimming and diving, and the beach is composed of small stones. If you're not a fan of this type of surface, simply slip on some water shoes to keep your feet protected.
The shore is composed of tiny pebbles that may be uncomfortable to walk on, but the crystal-clear waters are invigoratingly cool. The area features a snack bar with seating and serves as a launching point for small boats that transport visitors to the shipwreck beach and blue caves. Although the beach is not expansive, there are some complimentary loungers available. There is little to no shade or greenery to be found, making it a sun-soaked destination.
