This beach is quite charming, I suppose, if you're into the whole hidden gem thing. It leads to a supposedly private beach with sand, which is probably the only reason people bother to come here. But let's be real, it's not like this place is anything special. The sand is just...sand. And the water is just...water. I mean, I guess if you're desperate for a beach day, this could do the trick. But if you're looking for something truly breathtaking, you're better off looking elsewhere.
Small and calm beach
Although the beach itself may not be of the highest quality due to its rocky terrain and often choppy waves, there is a hidden gem waiting to be discovered. By venturing up the rocks and taking a stroll around the headland, you will come across a stunning promenade that leads to Kalimera beach. This hidden paradise is the only sandy beach in the area and is definitely worth the 20-30 minute, 2km walk from the other end of Sissi. So, if you're willing to explore and take a little adventure, you'll be rewarded with a beautiful and secluded spot to soak up the sun and enjoy the crystal clear waters.
This stunning beach has pristine white sand that will leave you in awe. Although the restrooms are located a bit of a distance away, it's worth the trek to witness the convenient showers and changing booths nearby. Additionally, a beach bar is situated right next to the shoreline, providing a refreshing oasis to quench your thirst. However, reaching this beach may prove to be a challenge as it requires a cab or a hot and sweaty walk from the nearby hotels. Nevertheless, if you're looking for a beach without rocks, this is the ideal destination.
This secluded sandy beach may be small, but it offers a sense of privacy that is hard to come by in crowded tourist destinations. However, keep in mind that the ocean floor is rocky, so be careful as you step into the water. The staff in charge of the sunbeds are incredibly hospitable and welcoming, going above and beyond to make sure their guests are comfortable. They even provide complimentary fruit and water, as well as access to equipment like sea shoes, flippers, and lilo's, all free of charge.
