Alexander Beach

We had a fantastic time at Alexander hotel. From the moment we arrived, we received exceptional service as guests. The rooms, pools, and beach were all outstanding. The dining experience at the restaurants was also exceptional. What stood out the most was the friendly and attentive staff who always had a smile on their faces and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was unforgettable. I highly recommend Alexander beach hotel to anyone visiting Crete. The location is ideal, with a beautiful sandy beach and numerous shops and restaurants within walking distance.

I had an amazing time at the hotel. The views were absolutely breathtaking, the food was delicious, and the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The rooms were spotless, and the service was top-notch. There were multiple restaurants to choose from, and the hotel even had several pools. It was such a fantastic experience that there was no need to venture outside of the hotel.

The hotel is quite pleasant, and if you're into resorts and have kids, it's a fantastic choice. The breakfast buffet is excellent, but I would suggest dining out for dinner since there are plenty of wonderful restaurants just outside the hotel, and the prices are much better. The dinner buffet is decent, although it does feel like it's produced in large quantities. The pools are kept clean, but you might have to compete with other guests, like Germans or Brits, for a sunbed as they tend to reserve them early in the morning, despite the signs prohibiting it. The staff is very helpful, although they do seem to always try to upsell things. Maybe my expectations were raised by the glowing reviews, but overall, I can't really say it was my preferred choice, and I believe one could rent a far superior apartment nearby for a fraction of the cost. There isn't much to do, so if you enjoy lounging by the pool, going to the beach, and so on, then this place is for you. However, if you want to truly experience Crete, I recommend exploring further. The area is highly touristy, and if you want to venture out, having a car is necessary. It is possible to walk to the small town, but the street is quite busy. Other locations in Crete are more pleasant and have fewer tourists.

We chose this hotel to celebrate my mom's birthday, and it exceeded all of our expectations. The hotel facilities are absolutely amazing, and the pictures you see online don't do justice to how wonderful this place truly is. The gardens are well-maintained and absolutely beautiful when walking to the rooms. Despite being a large hotel, it never feels crowded. The design gives off a boat-like vibe, and no matter where you look, you can always see the sea. The views from every corner are like something out of a dream. Direct beach access is a huge plus, as you can easily go from the pool to the beach with just a few steps. There is also a lovely path that connects different areas of the hotel, allowing you to walk from beach to beach. The breakfast options are plentiful, and even after being here for 11 days, we never got bored. We opted for the half-board option and thoroughly enjoyed the dinners as well. The room was impeccably clean, and the air conditioning was silent and efficient. The staff were incredibly friendly, and Dimitri, the head of maitre, made our stay extra special by arranging a fantastic dinner with a special cake. The entire staff goes above and beyond to ensure your happiness and make you feel welcome. Any request or issue can be easily solved via WhatsApp, with a quick response time. The Wi-Fi works perfectly throughout the property. If you're looking to disconnect and relax, this is the perfect place. We absolutely loved it and will definitely be coming back. Even though I initially stayed at the beach for business purposes, I was so impressed with the hospitality that I ended up booking a stay for my family after the first three days. I can confidently say that it would be difficult to find a more customer-oriented and attentive staff than the one at this beach. From the hotel director to the reservation manager, the public relations team, Ms. Sophia, the rooms manager, the maitre d', all the restaurant staff, the cleaners, and especially the exceptional bellboys, I have never encountered a group of people more willing to assist, support, guide, and be available around the clock. I am definitely planning to return to this beach for a family vacation. Great job, team! Keep up the excellent work and you are the true winners!
