Paralia Plakes is located on the Aegean Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 322th place out of 1022 beaches in the South Aegean region 91.1 km away from its center, the city of Ermoupoli. It is one of the beaches of Psathi settlement, just 4 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place with very picturesque views, among the mountains.

It is a small bay with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is almost deserted place even during the high season.

Paralia Plakes coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature. .

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities.

This beach is easily accessible, it is located very close to road. Parking is located directly on the beach.

This serene beach can be accessed by travelling on a bumpy dirt road for 5 kilometers. I opted for a 125cc scooter to reach this hidden gem. The beach was enchanting and secluded, with only 10 individuals present in late July. It lacked any amenities or facilities, but it was undoubtedly the most stunning beach I came across during my stay in Ios.
