Paralia Monastiria is located on the Aegean Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 778th place out of 1022 beaches in the South Aegean region 49.5 km away from its center, the city of Ermoupoli. It is one of the beaches of Kampos settlement, just 2.6 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place, among the mountains.

It is a small bay with green pure water and black sand & pebble cover, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is almost deserted place even during the high season. Moreover, this beach is popular with naturists.

It is truly astonishing to see the affluent individuals who have constructed luxurious villas in this breathtaking location and yet fail to display the determination, commitment, and civic responsibility to gather the plastic waste that has washed up on the shore. It is a simple task that requires minimal effort, yet it remains undone. The irony of their lavish homes surrounded by iron fences is not lost on those who witness the neglect of the beach.

While it may not be my top pick, the stunning beauty of this beach cannot be denied.
