Paralia Apothikes is located on the Aegean Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 33th place out of 1022 beaches in the South Aegean region 38.4 km away from its center, the city of Ermoupoli. It is one of the beaches of Zaganiaris settlement, just 2.4 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place, among the mountains, surrounded by the cliffs.

It is a small bay with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, seniors etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

The beach is an absolutely stunning location! The sea boasts a breathtaking array of colors that are truly mesmerizing. The beach bar is a must-visit spot, offering an impressive selection of cocktails and burgers that are simply amazing. Overall, this destination is definitely worth a visit!

The customer service at the beach was commendable, with friendly and accommodating staff. The prices were reasonable, but the sunbeds were outdated and in need of replacement. Unfortunately, only cold beers were available, and there was no provision for cold water. The shower water was excessively hot, which was uncomfortable. The beach itself was not impressive, as it appeared somewhat unclean and required some improvements.

The beach boasts of crystal clear waters and a stunning beach bar that adds to its charm. However, reaching the beach via a dirt road can be a bit challenging. Despite this, I highly recommend visiting this beach.
