Lampsa Beach is located on the Aegean Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 145th place out of 398 beaches in the Northern Aegean region 89.9 km away from its center, the city of Mytilene. It is one of the beaches of Limnos settlement, just 0.7 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place, among the mountains.

It is a small bay with crystal turquoise water and light sand & pebble cover, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is almost deserted place even during the high season.

This beach was a great find - it was peaceful and secluded, and we had it all to ourselves on August 15th. There were five or six large tamarisk trees providing shade, and a shower too. Even our local guide, who had never been there before, was impressed.
