This lovely beach is conveniently located near the heart of the city and is open to the public.
The ocean is absolutely delightful, with a touch of verdant vegetation at the shoreline, but once you venture in, the water is pristine and transparent. It starts off quite shallow, but after 10 meters, it becomes deeper, making it an ideal spot for young children. The beachfront boasts a variety of dining options, some of which provide complimentary sun loungers if you partake in their food and beverage offerings. Additionally, there are water-based activities to indulge in.
This beach is absolutely stunning! I embarked on a ferry ride from Cesme, Turkey and spent an entire day basking in the warm sun here. The best part is that you don't have to worry about bringing your own chairs or umbrellas as they are provided for free. Plus, the restaurant in front of you is always ready to serve you with delicious food and refreshing beverages. The waters are calm and shallow, perfect for a relaxing swim. And if you're coming from Chios Town, it's just a short 15-minute drive by taxi.
The beach was covered in soft, yellow sand that stretched out as far as the eye could see. The water was incredibly shallow, making it the perfect spot for families with young children to splash around in. Unfortunately, the day we visited, the winds were strong and the waves were high, creating a slightly tumultuous environment.
The beach with stunning beauty. The quaint and charming little cafes are a delight to visit and are sure to leave you in awe. At the end of the cafe walk, you will find one of the best taverns on the island, which is definitely worth a visit. The water is crystal clear and perfect for children to play in, thanks to the clean sand and shallow depths. It almost feels like a sand bar has been set up for their enjoyment.
