Nas beach is located on the Aegean Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 112th place out of 398 beaches in the Northern Aegean region 170.1 km away from its center, the city of Mytilene. It is one of the beaches of Kato Raches settlement, just 0.2 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place, among the mountains, surrounded by the cliffs.

It is a small bay with crystal turquoise water and light sand & pebble cover, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season. Located at the mouth of Chalares Canyon, this small beach is set amidst a stunning landscape. However, during July and August, it can be perilous due to the powerful currents and high waves. It is advisable to visit during the spring and autumn months. It's important to note that this beach is a semi-nudist haven, and any peeping toms are not welcome and may find themselves in trouble.
