I wouldn't consider this place to be a 5-star experience. If you're looking for average buffet food and drinks that are just okay and require waiting in line, then this might be suitable for you. We encountered ants in our room and the cleaning service was not up to par. The facilities in the room were more aligned with a 3-star rating. The pool and beach were enjoyable, but that alone doesn't justify a 5-star rating. We're extremely disappointed and honestly, we feel like we've been taken advantage of.
I would not recommend this beach for families. We were given a room that is right in front of the ventilation system, and the noise level is extremely high. It is impossible to stay on the balcony, and it is difficult to sleep well at night because you can hear the fans all night long. When we asked to change rooms, we were informed that all family rooms are located in that area. The hotel is aware of this problem, but they do not seem to care. The Greek receptionist was very arrogant and mentioned that some people complain, but he does not care. It is also frustrating that we cannot speak directly with the hotel manager and can only communicate through someone at the reception. It is hard to understand why the manager does not interact with the customers. On a positive note, the food is good and there are plenty of swimming pools. However, the housekeeping service is very poor. They did not provide towels and it took three hours and multiple phone calls to finally receive them. Additionally, the soap dispenser has been empty for two days already. If you are looking for a quiet room and good service, I suggest not choosing this place.
The hotel is quite lovely with some truly stunning views. However, it can be quite challenging to find a sun lounger in the morning as I had to wake up at 7 in order to secure a spot (even though it was clearly stated that reserving beds is not allowed, everyone seemed to be doing it). On the bright side, the selection of inclusive cocktails was really impressive. There was a wide variety of options available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, which was great. The only downside was that I had to make reservations for the other restaurants a day in advance, including the Italian, Burger, Mediterranean, and Greek ones.
I just got back from spending a week at this beach. We stayed in a junior suite. Overall, it was a fantastic week, although I wouldn't classify it as a 5-star resort. There are some good aspects, but there are also areas that need improvement in order for it to be considered a luxurious 5-star establishment. The pools were clean, albeit a bit chilly, but not too cold. They were perfect for the 30-degree heat! Don't be deceived by the term junior suite, as it was more like a regular double room. The rooms were not luxurious, but they were clean and basic. The service was good, although not consistently excellent throughout the hotel. The bar staff worked hard, but there were always lines for drinks in the evenings. The food was enjoyable, with plenty of options even for picky eaters, and there was an abundance of fresh fruit and salad.
This beach resort is absolutely amazing. It offers numerous pools, convenient access to the beach, and an abundance of bars. The food provided is exceptional, with a wide variety of options available every day. The staff members are incredibly friendly and always ready to assist. The rooms are pleasant and tidy, with efficient air conditioning. I highly recommend this place!
