Excellent beach Warm water June to August , small kiosk for snacks and coffee
Like most beaches in the bay the surface water is warmer. The bottom is mostly sandy. It is shallow for a long way out. Great beach for kids as it very shallow for a long way out. My son would only snorkel were he knew that he could stand, so would snorkel long distances here.
Beautiful! The beach is a paradise for kids and parents and not only... Being in the Gera gulf near Mytilini, it's easy to reach via a new built road that runs by the sea shore. Waters are green and warm as they are shallow for a big distance into the sea, so it's safe for children. The beach is sandy and so transparent that one can see the little fish swimming by one's feet. There are two beach bars where the sunbeds and umbrellas are free as long as you buy something from the bar. One of them has even a big trampoline for the children's use. Refreshment s and light snacks like toast are sold. Cheep prices
A very beautiful, calm, shallow, shoreline of the 'big bay' of Mitilini. A quiet drive along small beaches, with the occassional fishing wharf. The beaches can have sea grasses messing-up the pebbly sand, but still worth a drive & dip for the family. The villiage itself was unfortunately not visited.
Very nice beach. Sand on the beach and in the sea but not too fine to be annoying. There is a canteen and a cafe offering coffee, soft drinks and fast food. Sunbeds are free with consumption. The sea is very warm and very shallow for a long distance, so it is ideal for small children. There is plenty of space for umbrellas and shade trees. The beach has a blue flag.
