Paralia Kolimvisis is located on the Aegean Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 174th place out of 367 beaches in the Central Macedonia region 50.1 km away from its center, the city of Thessaloniki. It is one of the beaches of Kallithea settlement, just 1.9 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.

It is a straight coastline with crystal turquoise water and gray sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, seniors etc. It is very crowded place during the season.

Paralia Kolimvisis coast is free for all. This beach has the following amenities, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, changing rooms, showers, toilets. I am truly astonished by the sight of Greeks, Macedonians, and Romanians smoking on the beaches of Greece and thoughtlessly disposing of their cigarette butts in the sand. As a result, there are countless numbers of discarded butts scattered across the beaches of Paralia. It is absolutely repulsive to lie on the sand and witness cigarette butts strewn everywhere. It feels like a complete disregard for nature! I don't understand it at all. I even attempted to have a conversation with a Greek individual about why they choose to bury their cigarette butts in the sand instead of properly disposing of them, only to be met with the response that it is their country and they can do as they please. If I don't like it, I should simply avoid coming here. I can't help but wonder, where is the consciousness of the Greek authorities in all of this?

The place is absolutely stunning, with plenty of shops and delicious food options. It's even more breathtaking at night, and the beach itself is simply amazing. There's absolutely nothing to complain about!
