During our winter visit, the beach didn't leave a great impression due to the scattered litter. However, the picturesque view compensated for it. I believe it could be a perfect location for a refreshing swim in the summer.
The beach offers a lovely and gentle slope, perfect for wading and lounging in the water.
The crystalline waters are incredibly pure, free from any sort of pollution. The beach is a peaceful haven, devoid of any bustling bars or noisy crowds. However, the initial 50 meters of the shoreline can be a bit of a nuisance as there are some rocky formations underwater, but beyond that, there is a stretch of 50-60 meters of pristine sandy beach that is perfect for leisurely walks.
The beach has lost its charm and allure, as it no longer holds the same appeal as it once did. The once pristine sands are now littered with debris and the water is murky, devoid of its former crystal clear clarity. It's a shame to see such a decline in what was once a beautiful natural wonder.
Salamina boasts of numerous beaches, but unfortunately, the one in question is marred by litter and debris. It's a shame that the beach isn't cleaned regularly, as it could be a beautiful spot to relax and soak up the sun. Despite the uncleanliness, the beach café serves up delicious food, although the tables are in dire need of replacement. To the right of the bar, there are old boards that have seen better days, and the bar itself could use a fresh coat of paint. It's evident that no maintenance has been carried out in a long time. As a result, it's unlikely that you'll find more than 20% of the beach occupied on a busy Saturday in July.
