Monolithi beach is located on the Ionian Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 74th place out of 90 beaches in the Epirus region 70.6 km away from its center, the city of Ioannina. It is one of the beaches of Nikopoli settlement, just 2.2 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place.

It is a long bay with green pure water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, seniors, partygoers etc. It is almost deserted place even during the high season. There is a campsite located nearby.

I must say, this beach is truly one of the most spectacular I have ever laid eyes on. With a convenient beach bar and a refreshing pool in close proximity, it's an ideal spot to relax and unwind. Accessing the beach is a breeze and the water is delightfully warm, although it could use a bit of tidying up. All in all, I highly recommend paying a visit to this stunning beach.

Nice beach with small pebbles and a few bars to quench your thirst. Parking is not an issue, particularly during autumn. It's a great place for families with children as it's child-friendly. You can even spend the night in your camper right on the beach, particularly during the low season. Additionally, there are free freshwater showers available.
