Valtos beach is located on the Ionian Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 14th place out of 90 beaches in the Epirus region 57.9 km away from its center, the city of Ioannina. It is one of the beaches of Chrysogiali settlement, just 0.1 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area.

It is a long bay with crystal turquoise water and bright shell sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, seniors etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

Valtos beach coast is free for all. This beach has the following amenities, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant. There is also possible to take different water activities such as catamarans or jet skis. During the season this beach line is supervised by a lifeguard.
