It is one of the beaches of Elbstorf settlement, just 1 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a spacious coastline with turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, pet owners etc. It is not crowded place during the season. There is a campsite located nearby.

It's inconvenient that they only accept cash at this beach. It seems outdated. I would give them an extra star for service if they started accepting cards.

We arrived late and found that the beach was quite far from the restroom 🥴, but overall everything was great. The location is cool and the staff is friendly ^^

The beach is beautifully situated and of a reasonable size, with plenty of space and very friendly staff. The sanitation facilities are clean. It's a great location for biking and hiking, and also ideal for those traveling with dogs as the Elbe beach is long enough to find a quiet spot for them to run. Upon arrival at the campsite, we were able to choose our own spot on a field, and despite it being busy, we still found a nice place with privacy. The campsite owners are very attentive and care about the camping experience and the environment. Trash is recycled, and don't forget to check out the impressive swallow nest pole across from the trash collection point. Just a heads up, if you plan on taking public transport into Hamburg, there may be limited options, as we experienced during our visit in mid-August. The owner had warned us about this in advance.

The river view was fantastic. I wish there were more services available on that side, but I realize it can be difficult. The facilities and services on the other side are top-notch. Next time, I'll choose a spot on that side.

This campsite is amazing! My girlfriend and I had a wonderful stay here. The owner was extremely friendly and spoke great English, making sure we had everything we needed. Our spot by the river was gorgeous, spacious, and flat. The bathroom and shower facilities were clean and up-to-date. The dish washing and laundry amenities were also top-notch. When we had some trouble with our van, the owner even called her mechanic and set up an appointment for us. We highly recommend this place!
