It is a long lasting coastline with turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. The beach should be accessible to all citizens without an entry fee, as it is a common good. While the sandy area is well-kept, the coast is unfortunately littered with deceased marine creatures and the water has an oily film due to algae growth. It's possible that this is due to the sewage being dumped by passing cruisers or the high levels of pollutants from the Elba river.

To be clear, this isn't a beach for swimming, but you can take a unique walk in the ocean for about a kilometer. The water is clear, so you can see crabs before getting too close. On sunny days, it's a great spot to soak up some rays. Families with kids will enjoy visiting here 😉. And just to add some fun, I included a flipped photo that might make you laugh 🤣🤣🤣.
