Plage des Cures is located on the English Channel and it is in the 8th place out of 55 beaches in the Cotes-d'Armor region 67.2 km away from its center, the city of Saint-Brieuc. It is one of the beaches of Kerdrehoret settlement, just 0.4 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, surrounded by the cliffs.

It is a straight coastline with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is very crowded place during the season.

Plage des Cures coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature, toilets. .

Unfortunately, there was green algae present at the beach. However, there was an ongoing cleaning process to address the issue. Additionally, there is a small shed where you can borrow and return books. Overall, it is a nice place and with the tide, we were able to cross over to the port of Loquirec.

This beach in Brittany is a classic wild spot. It's expansive during low tide but narrow when the tide is high, with cliffs and rocks adding to the scenery. Swimming here may be a bit more challenging than in the Mediterranean, but it's still enjoyable for those who prefer cooler waters. We adore these unique spots. Truly.
