Bonaparte Beach is located on the English channel (part of North Atlantic Ocean) and it is in the 40th place out of 55 beaches in the Cotes-d'Armor region 24.7 km away from its center, the city of Saint-Brieuc. It is one of the beaches of Keruzeau settlement, just 0.7 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, surrounded by the cliffs.

It is a long lasting coastline with crystal blue water and pure bright fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

The beach is stunning, with rocky terrain and towering cliffs. Additionally, it holds a significant piece of history - during WWII, Allied airmen who evaded capture in France were rescued and brought back to Britain from this very spot thanks to the efforts of the local French resistance. The beach now boasts several plaques commemorating this heroic mission.

The beach was quite pleasant, although there weren't many amenities available. However, there was an abundance of beach space to enjoy. It was quite surreal to witness numerous paragliders soaring through the sky, taking advantage of the thermals. Additionally, there were some rock pools that were worth exploring.
