Cypress beach is located on the Mediterranean Sea and it is in the 91th place out of 197 beaches in the Var region 21.8 km away from its center, the city of Toulon. It is one of the beaches of Port Auguier settlement, just 1.6 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains, surrounded by the cliffs.

It is a straight coastline with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. As you venture away from La Tour Fondue harbour, the initial beach that greets you is a true hidden treasure. A descent down some steep steps leads you to a little slice of paradise. The sand is both soft and firm, making for a comfortable stroll towards the calm waters. Due to its proximity to the harbour, this beach can become quite crowded. However, I find that taking a leisurely walk along the beach to the next set of shores further down the coast is a more peaceful and enjoyable experience.
