Port de Sormiou is located on the Mediterranean Sea and it is in the 49th place out of 59 beaches in the Bouches-du-Rhone region 10.4 km away from its center, the city of Marseille. It is one of the beaches of Vallon de la Reserve settlement, just 4.1 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area with very picturesque views, among the mountains. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a tiny bay with crystal turquoise water and brown sand & rocks cover, so it is highly recommended to wear special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

Port de Sormiou coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature. There is also possible to take different water activities such as catamarans or jet skis. Daily boat rental service is located nearby.
