Playa Ochoa is located on the Pacific ocean and it is in the 10th place out of 34 beaches in the Galápagos region The beach is located in a natural place. This beach is not a well-known place, so it is well suited for a relaxing leisure.

It is a small bay with crystal turquoise water and pure bright fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, hikers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

Playa Ochoa coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature. .

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities.

Playa Ochoa (Galápagos) is located outside the El Progreso settlement, which may cause some difficulties for travelers who stay far from the coast. However, the remoteness from the village is not always a bad thing. Lovers of quiet rest know, the farther the beach, the fewer crowds.

This beach is absolutely stunning, with soft sand and even seals to admire. It's like a little slice of paradise. You can reach it by taking the incredible Isla Lobos tour, which also offers birdwatching, or by taking a taxi and enjoying a two-hour walk.

I highly suggest visiting this beach, as it's possible you'll have it all to yourself. However, be prepared to take a taxi to Soledad and trek for 2 hours to reach it. The effort is worth it though, as you'll be rewarded with a secluded and exclusive beach. Don't forget to bring plenty of water, as there's no signal and limited shade available.
