Pedernales beach is located on the Caribbean Sea (part of South Atlantic Ocean) and it is in the 125th place out of 246 beaches in the Dominican Republic region 196.9 km away from its center, the city of Santo Domingo. It is one of the beaches of Residencial Brisas del Mar settlement, just 0.4 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area with very picturesque views. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a long bay with crystal turquoise water and pure bright fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal.
