El Limon Beach is located on the Atlantic ocean and it is in the 46th place out of 246 beaches in the Dominican Republic region 126.5 km away from its center, the city of Santo Domingo. It is one of the beaches of La Cuchareta settlement, just 3.7 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place with very picturesque views. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a long lasting coastline with crystal turquoise water and light fine pebble, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, pet owners etc. It is not crowded place during the season. Please note that the area nearby is possible for wild camping.

El Limon Beach coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature. .

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities.

This beach is easily accessible, it is located very close to road. Parking is located directly on the beach.

This beach is truly a hidden gem! If you plan on visiting solo, make sure your vehicle is equipped to handle the rough terrain and sandy paths. Although the drive may be a bit rocky, the destination is absolutely worth it! During my visit, there was only one other family present, making it a secluded and serene experience. Despite its public accessibility, the beach maintains a sense of intimacy and privacy.

A place where you can soak up the sun, feel the sand between your toes, and be surrounded by screaming children and obnoxious tourists. The horseback riding is a nice touch, if you're into the idea of sweating profusely while being jostled around on the back of a large animal.
