Although the campsite was decent, the bathroom could have been cleaner. However, the staff's behavior was unacceptable and downright insulting. We phoned in the morning to inform the reception that we would arrive at 9 pm and asked if someone would be available to check us in and show us our site for the night, which the woman on the phone confirmed. When we arrived, the reception was empty, and no one responded to our calls or the bell. After waiting for an hour, we decided to park in an unoccupied spot and spend the night. The following morning, we were summoned to the reception where both women were extremely unfriendly, unprofessional, and impolite. At one point, both women began speaking and laughing at us in Croatian, which was ironic because we spoke the language. They referred to us as childish for waiting an hour instead of simply taking an unoccupied spot and ridiculed the way we spoke. This was unquestionably the worst staff and service we encountered during our road trip across the nation, and we departed immediately.
This beach is, without a doubt, a sight to behold. Its shallow waters are truly a marvel to witness, and the bar that sits beside it is a quaint little spot that offers a decent selection of drinks and light bites. However, be warned: if you want to use the outdoor shower, you better have some loose change on hand. It's a bit of a hassle, but hey, what's a day at the beach without a little inconvenience, right?
Typically, we don't like to stay in one spot for more than a few days, but this beachside pitch was too cozy to leave. We were fortunate to snag a front-row spot, which was absolutely amazing! The two sisters who run the campsite are incredibly friendly and take great care in maintaining the grounds. The entire area is immaculate and tidy. Additionally, the nearby village is just a quick bike ride away. The campsite's slogan, you are not only our guest, you are the guest of nature, perfectly captures the essence of the location.
The water is transparent and devoid of any impurities. The marine life is visible, but the absence of any shade makes it a challenging experience. The beach is only appropriate for young children. The parking fee is exorbitant, but free parking is available in the vicinity.
This beachfront campground is an absolute gem, offering a tranquil and cozy atmosphere with stunning views of the bay. The sunrise here is truly breathtaking, and the overall cleanliness and hospitality of the staff make for a wonderful experience. Plus, if you're a dog owner, you'll be pleased to know that furry friends are more than welcome here.
