Borik sandy beach is located on the Adriatic Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 33th place out of 216 beaches in the Zadar region 2.4 km away from its center, the city of Zadar. It is one of the beaches of Zadar settlement, just 2.4 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a small bay with crystal turquoise water and light sand & pebble cover, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

Borik sandy beach is fully occupied by beach clubs with restricted entrance. The beach facilities are only available to visitors of resort area. Their list includes, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, changing rooms, showers, toilets. This area has also a water park in the sea with various inflatable toys which constitute excellent activities for parents and children. This beach is truly delightful! We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The beachfront provides easy and convenient access to the sea, and you can leave your shoes behind. Although there is a parking fee of €10 per day, we opted to park in the city and take a pleasant 10-minute walk to the beach. This was not an issue for us at all.

The beach is absolutely stunning, well-maintained, and has a very laid-back vibe. It's perfect for families with young children as the water is shallow. Additionally, there are two beach beds and one umbrella available for a reasonable price of 100 Kuna for the entire day.
