Duga Uvala is located on the Adriatic Sea (part of Mediterranean Sea) and it is in the 118th place out of 215 beaches in the Istria region 35.5 km away from its center, the city of Pisino. It is one of the beaches of Duga Uvala settlement, just 0.2 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a small bay with crystal turquoise water and light pebble, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is very crowded place during the season.

Duga Uvala coast is free for all. This beach has the following amenities, loungers and umbrellas, showers, toilets. There is also possible to take different water activities such as catamarans or jet skis. The beach could use some tidying up. Additionally, the water is quite chilly even when the temperature outside is a scorching 34 degrees Celsius. It's worth noting that the beach is comprised of light pebbles.

The natural scenery is stunning, but unfortunately, it appears that the upkeep of the other amenities has been neglected for quite some time. This beach is not very accommodating for bikers or those with disabilities. It's a shame because there is so much potential for this location.
