Playa Dominical is located on the Pacific ocean and it is in the 179th place out of 233 beaches in the Costa Rica region 78.5 km away from its center, the city of San Jose. It is one of the beaches of Dominical settlement, just 0.8 km from its center. The beach is located in a natural place.

It is a long lasting coastline with turquoise water and gray sand & rocks cover, so it is recommended to wear special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

Playa Dominical coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature. .

Dominical Beach may seem alluring, but don't be fooled by its superficial charm. While the sunset paints a picturesque scene, the trees around the beach only serve to highlight the stark contrast between natural beauty and human intervention. And while the parking may be free, the town surrounding the beach is not so kind to your wallet. The cute facade belies the exorbitant prices charged for subpar services. So if you're looking for a truly enjoyable beach experience, you may want to look elsewhere.

This beach is truly a hidden treasure. The convenience of free parking and nearby restaurants make it an ideal spot for a day trip. The stunning scenery is simply breathtaking. You'll find a diverse crowd of vendors, surfers, families, and markets all within close proximity. Another added bonus is that many of the shopkeepers speak English, making it easy for travelers to communicate. Overall, this beach is a must-visit destination for anyone looking for a peaceful and picturesque escape.
