Lagarto Beach is located on the Pacific ocean and it is in the 79th place out of 233 beaches in the Costa Rica region 189 km away from its center, the city of San Jose. It is one of the beaches of Lagarto settlement, just 0.3 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a long lasting coastline with crystal turquoise water and gray sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season. There is a campsite located nearby.

Lagarto Beach coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature. .

This beach is easily accessible, it is located very close to road. Parking is located directly on the beach.

The beach is absolutely stunning and vast in size. Although there are limited parking choices, during our visit, we were pleasantly surprised to find not a single person on the beach. This solitude was something we truly cherished. However, the rocky seabed poses a challenge for swimming.

The beach was pleasant and peaceful. Although our visit was short, we were astounded by the abundance of coral scattered along the shoreline. However, there wasn't a lot of shade available.

The Fushing Community beach is absolutely amazing. It is well-maintained and boasts stunning beauty. There are numerous tables and benches available, perfect for beach barbecues or gatherings. Additionally, there is a convenient small store located across the street. However, it may be a little tricky to find, so don't hesitate to ask for directions.

The beach is quite secluded, away from the usual tourist spots. The road leading here can be a bit bumpy, similar to other parts of the country. You'll find plenty of small hermit crabs and seashells. When we visited in mid-September, the water was pleasantly warm and perfect for enjoying some fun activities.
