Manuia Beach is located on the Pacific ocean and it is in the 7th place out of 17 beaches in the Cook Islands region 6.4 km away from its center, the city of Avarua. It is one of the beaches of Arorangi settlement, just 0.6 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area, among the mountains. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a long lasting coastline with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The sharpness of entering the water is quite normal. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

Absolutely beautiful peaceful resort, small, boutique, staff so friendly, rooms are very spacious, I was in garden unit one behind the beachfront ones and pool. Loved the outside shower, coffee machine, jug, tea,coffee, big jug of icy cold water in fridge, pool overlooking beach is nice and so clean , continental breakfast is fine, can order cooked if you want. Assortment of cereals and breads to toast. Dinner menu amazing, could not fault it, entrees can be quite big, 2 nights I just ordered an entree. $69 good value for 3 course dinner. Great adults only, they also supply reef shoes, snorkeling gear. Bus stop right outside resort, $5 on local bus, you can get a pass too. Would highly recommend

Lovely rooms. Large size with ample storage. You get a lovely balcony to hang out in with daybed/sofa. They do airport transfers which is a bonus. Shower is outdoor only, just so you know as some people don't like that. Breakfast is good simple options, cereals, pancakes, fruit, toast. The view from the restaurant is fantastic 👌. Lovely location and pool.

Our second visit here, 30 years after our first, and it doesn't disappoint. It is adults only and very quiet. Mostly couples or older family groups. Staff are friendly and helpful, and happy to help with bookings or suggestions of places to visit. Some trips organized onsite, and weekly managers cocktails. Easy to get around using the bus, which stops outside. Lovely pool, spectacular sunsets.
