Muri Beach is located on the Pacific ocean and it is in the 4th place out of 17 beaches in the Cook Islands region 6.9 km away from its center, the city of Avarua. It is one of the beaches of Muri settlement, just 0.4 km from its center. The beach is located in an urban area. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a spacious bay with crystal turquoise water and white fine sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is partially crowded during the high season.

A significant part of the beach has a restricted access. The beach facilities are only available to hotel guests. Their list includes, loungers and umbrellas, beach restaurant, toilets, sea pool. There is also possible to take different water activities such as catamarans or jet skis.
