Awenda Pet Beach Area is located on the Huron lake and it is in the 19th place out of 39 beaches in the Ontario region The beach is located in a natural place. It is partially covered by trees which give natural shade.

It is a long lasting coastline with crystal turquoise water and gray sand, so it is highly recommended to wear special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers, pet owners etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

Awenda Pet Beach Area coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature. .

It was a beautiful place to travel with kids and enjoy some sun with the beach view. There are so many trails to venture into and a calming sunset to end the day with. However the washroom facilities aren't maintained well so it is hard to enjoy to the fullest.

We camped at the Awenda Provincial Park for 3 days and visited this pet beach every single day during the camping 😁 This beach is definitely the best one of the pet beaches. Sandy and rocky at the same time, the water is not that deep which is really good for pets and kids as well for sure. The pet beach is long enough so that we was able to stay away from other visitors. I loved kind of clean lake and well maintained path. Will visit here again!

Really nice provincial parks. The trails are fairly easy to walk with quite a few listed. There is canoeing here. Nice beach areas as well as a dog beach. Does require a park pass which is about $15 for the day.
