Sandy Beach is located on the Superior lake and it is in the 7th place out of 19 beaches in the N. Ontario region The beach is located in a natural place, among the mountains.

It is a spacious coastline with crystal turquoise water and bright sand, so you don't need special shoes. The entrance to the water is very smooth. This beach is suitable for different categories of people, lonely travellers, relaxation getaway lovers etc. It is not crowded place during the season.

Sandy Beach coast is free for all. It has no amenities, only nature. .

In addition to swimming and sunbathing, you can also take part in other activities, sea kayaking.

This beach is easily accessible, it is located very close to road. Parking is located directly on the beach.

Sandy Beach (N. Ontario) is located outside the Michipicoten River Village settlement, which may cause some difficulties for travelers who stay far from the coast. This beach is absolutely stunning and not widely known, as it is off the beaten path. It used to be owned by A.Y. Jackson and he would spend his summers here late in life, using it as inspiration for his paintings. Unfortunately, it is now private property. However, there is a remarkable lady who offers a one-hour experience on AirBnB where she takes you on a tour of the beach, showing you the exact spots that inspired A.Y. Jackson's artwork. If you're in the area, this is a must-do activity and truly a special treat. The road leading to the beach is unpaved and a bit rough, but nearby there is a fantastic lookout point and the sunsets here are absolutely breathtaking.

This beach is a hidden gem located just outside Wawa, ON. It's not too far from the highway and offers a great experience. The water is clean and clear, and the sand is very sandy unlike other pebble beaches found along the Superior east and north shore. It's shallow, making it perfect for kids. The beach itself is well-maintained and not too crowded. One end of the beach, near the creek, is quite wide and has a lot of sand. The water may be cool, but that's typical for Superior. I'm not sure if there are any restrooms available, so it's best to come prepared with everything you'll need to take care of yourself.
