The beach has some of the most breathtaking views on the whole of Tenerife. While it can be dangerous, it's important to be aware of the potential risks and exercise caution. I had a friend who was almost swept away by the strong current, but thankfully a surfer was able to come to the rescue. The locals warn that someone dies here every year, so it's best to be mindful of the environment and take the necessary safety measures. Despite the risks, the views are truly remarkable and make it worth the visit.
Taganana beach is a great spot for a day out at the coast. It's not as grand as the beaches after it, like Benijo, but it's easily accessible and much safer for swimming. Plus, you can enjoy the beautiful view of the coast from a small promontory. If you're looking to spend a day at the beach, Taganana should be your first stop - and then you can explore Benijo and the other beaches afterwards.
Absolut fantastisk.
That place is a hidden gem! It's small and secluded, so there are no crowds or tourists. The atmosphere is absolutely delightful - it's the perfect place to relax and unwind. Highly recommend if you're looking for some peace and quiet!
It is great for a day out. The black sand is perfect for surfing or just playing in the sand, and there is a nearby restaurant for a bite to eat. What's more, there is a secluded Virgin beach with no amenities - perfect for those seeking a tranquil getaway.
