An ideal spot for a vacation. The quaint village offers plenty of amenities such as a supermarket, bar, and restaurant. There are plenty of apartments and residences for rent, and the access to the sea is convenient with platforms and pools that are sheltered from the wind and the waves. Plus, it's only a short drive away from Hierro airport.
The pools are far from ideal - they're always overcrowded, and there's barely any shade. So, if you want to tan, you're gonna have to risk it - and that's not something everyone is willing to do.
I'm not a fan of this beach; it feels too manufactured. You could be forgiven for thinking it was a paid attraction, but it's not. There are pathways that lead to the sea, which may be difficult for the elderly, but are perfect for young adults.
This place is the perfect spot to unwind and make the most of the summer. The two big pools are ideal for adults, reaching a depth of 1.60 meters, while the child-friendly pool is just 40 centimeters deep. Easily accessible via steps or stairs, the pools are accompanied by docks, bridges and stairs, offering a great view of the ocean's wildlife and vegetation. With a lifeguard on duty during the summer months, it's the ideal place to spend the day.
Caleta Beach is a stunning sight to behold, with its avenue that creates a picturesque view. Here you can find both man-made pools and the shore of the beach, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature.
