Stunning little secluded beach on Salcombe estuary, facing Salcombe itself across the water. Parking is an 8 min walk away and costs £5 or you can get a ferry across from Salcombe itself. You often get crystal clear water, if slightly cold to swim in!
Salcombe is definitely the Jewel in the Crown when it comes to the Estuaries in The South West It’s got numerous golden sandy beaches and very accessible for swimming. When the tides in there’s miles of safe sheltered water for sailing or motor boating amazing creeks to explore, there wonderful coat paths to wander around, In the area there’s many places to stay either expensive hotels or good B and B, great camping and caravan sites and fantastic food options and speciality fish or crab restaurants
Such a gorgeous beach and the cafe is amazing too! Clean toilets at the top of the track as well. Super easy to get the little ferry from Salcombe.
Gorgeous beach, also very busy. Check tide times if you want to walk to other beaches via the beach.
Excellent beach. Access is a little tricky for wheel chair or pushchair users and the beach is cut off for about an hour each side of high tide, but it quickly opens or to a long expanse of beautiful soft sand with great views across the estuary to Salcombe
