This beach is definitely one of the top three best beaches on Koh Phangan, according to my list. I had the chance to visit it in May 2022. Unfortunately, this part of the island has been heavily affected by the COVID outbreak. Additionally, it is quite far from the rest of the island, requiring a relatively long drive. As a result, most resorts were closed during my visit, and some of them were completely deserted. However, there was one bar and a couple of restaurants that remained open on the beach. Despite the limited options, the beach itself was serene and peaceful. The swimming experience was decent, although it did become a bit shallow during low tide.
The beach is peaceful and serene, with very few people around. You can simply relax on the beach or take a dip in the sea.
After exploring various beaches on the island, I found this one to be the most ideal for swimming and avoiding large crowds. The hotels and bars seamlessly integrate with the natural surroundings, adding to the beach's beauty. If I were to visit the island again, this would be my top choice for accommodation.
The beach is really nice! There are some rocks at the end that are perfect for taking pictures. However, there is unfortunately some trash. There are also massage huts available. The atmosphere is great, the sand is nice, and there is some shade from the palm trees. Personally, I prefer the other beach nearby.
When we went in February, the beach was great for swimming. The water was warm and calm, and the sand was soft. The water had a green/turquoise color and felt clean, although not completely clear (possibly due to the rain the previous evening). Additionally, there are several beach restaurant/bars to choose from, and you can also rent a long tail boat from here to visit other beaches.
