If you're coming with a caravan, make sure to keep going on the SS18 until you reach Poderia. Don't exit too early as the GPS might suggest, or else you'll end up in small villages or construction areas. The road from Poderia to the campsite can be a bit difficult, but once you arrive, they use a tractor to take your caravan to the designated spot since it's on a terraced area. The village itself is peaceful and has plenty of shade from the cloths. The entertainment this year was not very impressive, but overall, the campsite was pleasant and I'm looking forward to coming back!
This is my second year choosing this place for my September vacation, and just like last year, I felt warmly welcomed. The room I stayed in was cleaned daily and had an absolutely stunning view. The shuttle service was well-organized and efficient, with drivers who were always available. I want to give a special shout-out to Giovanni and Carmelo. And I can't forget to mention the commendable food service workers, from Giuseppe to Rocco and Carmine. Overall, it was a truly relaxing and enjoyable week.
We were initially worried about our holiday due to the numerous negative reviews. The village itself is a bit outdated and the accommodations are old-fashioned, but they are still functional. The bungalows have ceiling fans, although we didn't need to use them much because the evenings were usually cool. The resort is built on terraces that slope down to the sea, providing a beautiful panoramic view. However, it may be uncomfortable for elderly individuals and families with small children in strollers. The beach has both a sandy area, which we didn't particularly like, and a lovely pebble side. Sea shoes are necessary! They also have a designated beach area for dogs. Once you pass the cliff, the sea is absolutely wonderful, and the resort provides free kayaks for guests to use. The shuttle service is a bit outdated, but it is still very efficient. There are entertainment options for children and the staff is welcoming and friendly. Overall, it offers good value for money compared to other places in the area, but if you're looking for a top-notch resort, it's best to look elsewhere.
The beach offers a tranquil and serene atmosphere in the beautiful region of Cilento, located in southern Italy.
The place is affordable, lacks activities, the beach is not well-maintained, the rooms are subpar, there is even a shortage of toilet paper, and the staff is impolite and unpleasant. However, it is an ideal destination for budget-friendly vacations.
