One of the best beaches I've ever been to in my life. So pristine, the sand is so soft and it's nice for swimming. There are no toilets, showers or life guards. Parking is limited but that is not a problem. The water is surprisingly not as cold as the other beaches in Connemara.
Must swim in the summer/fall. It was a perfect swim after hiking the red loop on Diamond Hill. The locals are there and it’s so much fun.
I didn't get the weather but it still looked amazing here. Narrow road down to a nice sized carpark. I think you can see mountains in the distance when it's clear.
What a fine nice long sandy beach. Shallow clear water. I'm 6ft and I walked out over 40ft and was still only shoulder deep. Plenty of space here and the carpark almost matched. The views from the shore are amazing Crump island, Shavalleybeg look so close you could almost swim to them. Inish Turk off in the distance.
Gem of a beach. Spent a lovely morning there and had some magnificent views with the sun rising behind the mountains. A must see if in the area
