Beautiful white sandy beach with turquoise water. Stairs down to the beach. A little further down the road is the carpark which doesn't have stairs, just a path over the dunes to the beach. The water was a little fresh for us however it was beautiful to sit and enjoy the view. There is a stool at the top of the stairs.
Amazing beach with amazing views. Not much parking available, so if coming in from outside make sure you get here early. That said it was a sunny Saturday morning in mid February and there was no one on the beach but us. Even if just for a stop and walk on the way to Flinders Chase recommend allowing 45 mins to pull off the main road and see this beach
Beautiful but no jetty here, just beach for surf and lookout, if you looking for the jetty in the other side
It's ok. It's like a UK beach. Very sandy but windy and cold when we were there end of October. The sand is white which makes it very reflective when wet, good for photos. The water is turquoise blue and quite clear. Other than a few rocks/reef, there were no other interruptions to the sand. Small dunes covered with shrub and dry grass border the cove. It is a sunrise location rather than sunset, but does look good in evening light too. Only 4 stars because I think the main thing going for it is it's colours and remoteness. There are better beaches around the world and this would not rank even the top 10 in the ones I've been to so far unfortunately. But this is very subjective so don't let this dissuade you from having a look if passing by.
Well, we were on the main beach and my husband surfed. I didn't though it was that beautiful. Luckily I wanted to check the rock pools and luckily came across with the beautiful and clear water close to the Jetty. After read on the internet the comments I realised that the beautiful beach is not the surf beach but the little beach btw the jetty and the river. So please be aware get to the jetty and you will find the real beauty of this place!
