Thought Lucky Bay & Thistle Cove were unbeatable, but this beach was just as good if not better. After paying NP entry of $16.50/car/day, the turnoff was opposite Frenchman's turnoff & before you get to Lucky Bay. Sealed road there to small car park, with excellent path down to beach. Along the way you pass the toilets, bbqs & picnic area. The beach is squeaky white sand, turquoise water, sandy bottom, calm waves but very salty (easy float). Water is cool but definitely worth a swim & quite a few people did. To left is a large rock section used by some to bask on whilst others fished. Excellent spot.
Gorgeous white sandy beach to enjoy the day. Car park gets filled up during weekends by around 10:30am but the beach is sprawling and didn't feel crowded. Was fortunate enough to arrive at 10am to find a car bay and to see a pod of dolphins feeding and playing in the cove. Waves here aren't huge but roll on for several metres after crashing. Had a really great experience here.
Amazing beach, I actually prefer this to lucky bay because there aren’t people driving all over it. Sand is like flour and the water is turquoise, really special place to spend the day.
Simply wow! My next favourite beach after lucky bay. Clean blue-green waters, surrounded by rocks to climb at and beautiful scenic views.
One of the best beaches I have ever been to. A must see
