Our stay at the camping was excellent. Corina, the owner, was incredibly kind and responsive, and we didn't encounter any issues. The common areas were meticulously clean and hygienic, which was a top priority. They even organized visits from traveling shops, offering fresh breakfasts, fruits, vegetables, and freshly caught fish every other day. I highly recommend this peaceful and well-organized campsite, nestled in a wooded and flat part of the lagoon, with a wide beach boasting fine "golden" sand.
The camping grounds are very well-maintained. There are plenty of shaded areas with pits available. The beach in front is absolutely stunning. The only downside is that there is only a 6 amp switch, which can be inconvenient when trying to use the A/C in your motorhome.
The camp is decent, but there is room for improvement. The camping spots are quite spacious, and the first section of the camp, near the street, provides ample shade. However, the second section doesn't have as much shade. There are plenty of showers available, but unfortunately, the water temperature is either too hot or too cold. It was difficult to find a comfortable temperature, and the lack of shower handles made it challenging to bathe a small child. Most of the toilets are Turkish-style, but there are also regular toilets available. The camp offers a shared refrigerator and freezer for guests to use. Every morning, a man comes around with bread and honks his horn to let everyone know. The beach is wide and never too crowded, with fine sand that some people may not like because it gets everywhere. There are small waves, but they weren't a problem for my young children, who actually enjoyed them. The camp does have WiFi, but it's only available in certain areas and tends to be very slow. The owner claims to have complained to the network company, but the issue hasn't been resolved yet. I tried using my mobile network, but the signal was poor due to the camp's location under a hill. However, the mobile internet works better on the beach.
We returned to this beach after a two-year hiatus for one reason: tranquility, serenity, and overall wellness. The owner of the place is incredibly friendly and genuinely concerned about the satisfaction and requirements of his guests. Each morning, a car arrives with delectable and fresh pastries, while every other evening, another car brings a variety of vegetables and fruits.
We stayed at the campground for 11 nights in August. The campground is very well-maintained, and the other guests during our stay were polite and well-behaved. One thing I really appreciate is that the campsites are assigned, so you don't have to worry about waking up to find someone else's van right in front of you. They also have designated quiet hours from 3-5 pm and 11 pm to 7 am, which is nice. The beach across the street is lovely and there's always plenty of space, so you don't have to wake up early if you don't want to. They have enough toilets and showers, and everything is kept very clean. Another great thing is that the baker comes every morning at 8:30, which is perfect because the supermarket is a 10-15 minute walk away.
