The beaches are incredibly serene and perfect for unwinding.
The beach is good, although it's a bit hidden. It's one of the beautiful beaches in La Unión. It's a 10-minute drive from Las Tunas and there are no bars, restaurants, or public beach. However, there are only private ranches, but you can still enjoy swimming peacefully.
We will come across this beach while heading towards Tamarindo. We pass Las Tunas beach and then we pass black beaches, followed by white beaches. After the white beaches, we will find Maculis beach. It is extremely clean and not crowded at all. The only downside is that parking is very limited. However, it is not a big issue since the beach is not very popular. I highly recommend it.
Situated on the route to Jaguey, this beach is easily accessible by continuing straight from El Tamarindo beach. The road leading to it is now paved, making it convenient to reach. Upon arrival, you will come across several small ramadas that offer a selection of national beers and a seafood-based menu. Despite minimal development and limited visitors, the beach itself is stunning, featuring a smooth and stone-free shoreline. In the afternoon, the waves can get quite wild, adding to the beach's allure. The beach stretches for approximately 1 kilometer.
This is my first time using GMaps and I must say, the beach I found is really nice and well-maintained. The street leading to it is easily accessible and there are some restaurants nearby. Additionally, there are also ranches available for rent in the area. If you're in search of a great spot, I highly recommend visiting this beautiful beach.
