Lovely beach for a family outing, not too crowded, only downside is the presence of a lot of seagulls.
In order to access this beach, you will need to give a tip to the military personnel at the guard booth on the main road. After that, follow the dirt road down and you will have the option to go left or right once you reach the beach. This secluded beach has very few visitors, so it's best not to go alone and avoid bringing too many valuables. It's a beautiful, untouched beach perfect for taking photos, riding quads, or simply enjoying the peacefulness and tranquility. Located about 20 minutes outside of Las Terrenas, this beach is ideal for a relaxing day out with friends or family.
The views are amazing and the locals are really friendly.
The beach was not accessible in March 2018 due to a closed road monitored by soldiers. We were unable to find a way to access it on foot.
I went to this beach in Feb 2018. It's a stunning, secluded beach with light sand on top and darker sand underneath. It's practically untouched, with plenty of breeze and strong waves. At low tide, there's a natural breakwater that creates nearly 100 meters of space between the shore and the water. The entrance is located 500 meters from the Las Terrenas highway toll.
